Access is Microsoft's
popular database program that allows the user to manipulate data in
a number of ways. Data can be analysed and sorted, specific
information can be searched for, and the results can be used to
produce reports, lists and more.
Our Excel training
course will teach you to create and format spreadsheets. The data
held in the spreadsheet can then be used to produce sums, averages,
minimum and maximum ranges, graphs and charts. There are many
analytical features available in this powerful program making the
presentation of detailed and complex data easy and straightforward.
We offer the course at two levels; Excel Proficient and Excel Expert (Advanced).
Microsoft Outlook is a
powerful organisational tool that can be used by an individual or by
a team wishing to share resources. It not only sends and receives
email, but can also send faxes, manage contacts and schedule events
and meetings. Outlook can also be configured to work with you
remotely. Learning to make the most of this powerful and popular
tool can make a significant impact on your productivity.
Microsoft PowerPoint is
used to produce powerful, professional presentations featuring
images, sound and video, text and animations. Text can be formatted
easily either through applying styles or individual characteristics,
and a wide range of special-effect slide transitions is available.
Microsoft Word and Excel tables can be imported and re-formatted, and you can
also create handouts based on your PowerPoint slide presentations.
Microsoft Publisher
places sophisticated design tools at your fingertips, as well as a
vast range of adjustable templates covering newsletters, calendars,
brochures and more. Choose and edit template colour schemes, create
type styles, or apply special effects - Publisher is ideal for those
who want to do more than merely create straightforward documents and
layouts.
Microsoft Word is the
industry standard word processing application. It enables the
user to produce professional documents and layouts either by using a
wide range of supplied templates or by starting from scratch. The
user can create custom type styles and apply them to imported or
entered text, and design and format complex tables. It also allows
someone to create documents of many hundreds of pages including
pictures and diagrams imported from other office applications such
as Visio and Microsoft Project. We teach the course at two
levels; Word Proficient and Word Expert (Advanced).
