IT Technicians are always in demand with salaries of up to £40,000 on qualification.  It is estimated that 23% of all IT technical support jobs are unfilled at any time so it represents an ideal area if you want to start a new career.

There are many ways to begin a new career in IT.  Students often begin with our A+ courses which are designed to introduce them to the basics of PC hardware and software.  Then, depending on their experience or work requirements, students study for either a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) qualification.  An MCSA, at least, is usually required to find work as an IT technical support person.  Additional qualifications in networking or security will also help to increase skills and therefore employability.

If you want to be certified on newer Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server 2008 you should pursue the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification.  These will require the Windows Server 2008 qualifications below.

We offer a way to learn that works around you.  All courses are online allowing you to study at times that are convenient for you and allow you to carry on working while you learn.  Click on to the course details below to learn more.
