Book-keeping, Accounts and Sage Training Courses
Accounting, book-keeping and payroll skills are always in demand with salaries typically in the range of £16,000 to £24,000 per year. As well as finding employment in local businesses or accountancy practices, many of our students go on to set up their own book-keeping business by offering their services to local companies.
Remember that our courses can be studied at times to suit you and begin at any time, therefore you do not have to wait until the start of term to learn new skills or begin a new career. Also, unlike distance learning courses our pass rate is greater than 90% and you will always have a tutor present to help you if you need one. For qualifying students course fees start from as little as £99 including VAT, workbook and test.
Our fees are the same or lower than many equivalent local Further Education College courses. Many of our courses also lead to exemption from certain parts of the popular Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification, membership of the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB) and Sage accreditation.
We offer a number of courses to teach book-keeping, payroll and Sage skills. We generally recommend that students start with one of our manual bookkeeping courses, such as Book-keeping Level 2 - Module 1 before attempting the computerised ones. This is because an understanding of 'double-entry book-keeping' is essential to be successful in accounts. Students who already have practical book-keeping experience or qualifications can typically start studying computerised accounts, such as Sage, immediately.
